French Tapestry Piece

A stunning tapestry depicting a rose. Could it have come from a cushion or a piece of furniture? In excellent condition. Even though the edges are frayed they are not destroying the main body at all. They actually look sealed. I think it would look lovely framed, or could you repurpose it? Measures 16ins x 12ins.
