Victorian White Ironstone Rice Cannister

As this striking antique ironstone jar is probably from c1890 you would expect it to show a few wrinkles, wouldn’t you? After all it is around 135 years old! Cracks, nips, bumps they are all there but, it has clearly been loved and well used. I prefer it that way. Measures 6.75ins tall x 5ins diameter. A plant pot, utensil holder or a vase? It is watertight as I’ve tested it on my kitchen windowsill.
