Vintage Twin Tub Laundry Tongs

These long wooden tongs with the metal handles were used with the original Twin Tub washing machines in the 1950 / 60's. You would pull out the hot washing from the drum and transfer it to the tumbling drier, without burning yourself.  A lovely piece of retro kitchenalia to add to the collection!
